Scotland 1-3 England - Highlights
Scotland vs England - Highlights including yet another goal for Harry Kane
England swept aside Scotland 3-1 in an absorbing game played in a brilliant atmosphere at Hampden Park. On the 150th anniversary of their first fixture, the excitement was palpable as the home fans booed the English anthem and passionately sang their own to give the impression this was anything but a friendly.
Scotland kept an unchanged team from their 3-0 win in Cyprus, whilst England could afford to make seven changes and still field a very strong side which proved the gulf in class between the talent pools available to the managers of either team.
One of those players that were handed a chance to shine was Phil Foden, who took his chance by scoring the opening goal for Gareth Southgate's side. It was a beautiful stretch of play from England featuring, crisp one-touch passing before Foden swept home to score his fourth international goal.
England smelt blood and almost immediately scored their second after a shocking miscommunication between Kieran Tierney and Andrew Robertson gifted Jude Bellingham the ball 10 yards out and the Real Madrid man netted coolly.
Scotland pushed for a response but in reality, Arron Ramsdale wasn't really tested in the England goal, despite plenty of endeavor from Steve Clarke's Scots.
However, they were given a helping hand from Man Utd defender Harry Maguire, who sent a square ball past his own goalkeeper to make the game 2-1 England with twenty minutes to go.
With Hampden Park lifted, it seemed Scotland would push on but it was England who scored the next goal with Jude Bellingham absolutely bullying the Scottish defence in creating the assist.
The win takes England to six games unbeaten and ends Scotland's own good form.
