Arsenal 4 PSV 0 - Highlights
Arsenal mark their six year hiatus from the Champions League with a resounding 4-0 win against PSV
Arsenal eased to a 4-0 Champions League win over PSV on Wednesday evening, the perfect preperation ahead of a North London derby on Sunday.
The visitors offered Arsenal plenty of time and space and Bukayo Saka duly opened the scoring with just eight minutes on the clock. The England winger pounced on a parried ball from PSV keeper Walter Benítez to slot away from a tight angle.
Arsenal bossed posession and quickly doubled their advantage. Leandro Trossard's sublime first-time strike arrowed into the corner and out of the reach of Benítez on the twenty minute mark. Trossard turned provider for Arsenal's third just before the break. A surging run from the Belgian international and a cross found the feet of Gabriel Jesus, the Brazilian snapped a shot confidently into the top corner.
The Gunnners cruised in the second half, and club captain Martin Ødegaard capped off a fine individual display with a now trademark strike which smashed into the bottom corner.
