Besiktas clawed defeat from the jaws of victory tonight when throwing away a two goal lead with just nine minutes remaining.

They took the lead in the first half when Vincent Aboubakar's header found the bottom right corner from Rachid Ghezzal's cross. Just six minutes into the second half the Cameroonian striker made it 2-0 with a lovely strike.

However, the first signs of a routine win escaping them came on 60 minutes when Valentin Rosier was shown a second yellow card and left the field of play for a bad foul.

 Ignacio Aliseda scored Lugano's first on 81 minutes and then just five minutes later, Shkelqim Vladi's right footed shot from the centre of the box found the top left corner.

The Besiktas fans were nervy and angry now, which only got worse when Eric Bailly put into his own net in the 89th minute.
