Hamilton wins German Grand Prix, takes championship lead
Lewis Hamilton produced an inspirational comeback drive from 14th on the grid to win the German Grand Prix on Sunday to regain the championship lead from Sebastian Vettel.
Vettel was on course to win his home race only to crash out when his Ferrari lost grip on a bend.
Mercedes celebrated a 1-2 with Hamilton followed across the line by teammate Valtteri Bottas, with Kimi Raikkonen in the second Ferrari in third.
