Bayern Munich confirms hamstring injury for Davies
Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies is set for a spell on the sidelines after sustaining a hamstring injury.
The Canada international was injured late in the first half of the 3-0 Champions League defeat at Feyenoord.
Davies had only recently returned to action after a thigh injury put him out of action last month.
The club revealed a scan carried out by the FC Bayern medical staff confirmed the injury, but did not give a timeline for the 24-year-old's return.
Bayern midfielder Joao Palhinha is also out after suffering an abductor muscle injury in November, while a kidney contusion has sidelined goalkeeper Daniel Peretz.
Defender Sacha Boey is yet to make his comeback after suffering a ligament injury last month.
Bundesliga leader Bayern visit Freiburg this weekend, looking to bounce back from the upset against Feyenoord.
