Olmo and Torres send Barca back to the top
Second-half goals from substitutes Dani Olmo and Ferran Torres saw Barcelona beat Las Palmas 2-0 to return to the top of LaLiga.
Atletico Madrid's win over Valencia earlier in the day had seen Barca drop off top spot, but the Blaugrana ensured they would finish the weekend back at the peak, regardless of what result Real Madrid can produce against Girona on Monday (AEDT).
Olmo slammed in off the underside of the crossbar in the 62nd minute, after latching on to Lamine Yamal's excellent pass after a first half in which the hosts had looked the more likely to score.
Las Palmas, which is 17th, wanted a penalty for handball in the 79th minute, but the referee dismissed the appeals after checking withhis videp assistant, who found there to have been an offside in the build-up.
Barca doubled the lead deep into stoppage-time, with Torres firing in, also off the crossbar, to seal all three points for Hansi Flick's side, which is now unbeaten in 10 away matches in all competitions.
