Monaco fights back to rescue a point at Nantes
Monaco recovered from 2-0 down to rescue a point against Nantes at Stade de la Beaujoire in Ligue 1.
Adi Hutter's side remained in third place in Ligue 1 and closed the gap on leader Paris Saint-Germain, which does not play until Monday (AEDT), to nine points.
Nantes had won just one of its past 13 league games, but it took the lead in the 12th minute with Sorba Thomas setting up Matthis Abline.
Thomas was the provider again as the hosts doubled their advantage within two minutes of the restart, with Kelvin Amain profiting on this occasion.
However, Monaco halved the deficit five minutes later through Breel Embolo, while Mohammed Salisu headed in a 59th-minute equaliser from Lamine Camara's corner.
Both sides went close to snatching a winning goal. Embolo saw a shot cleared off the line, while Moses Simon struck the woodwork at the other end as the spoils were shared.
