Monaco puts PSG's title celebrations on ice
Paris Saint-Germain's Ligue 1 title celebrations will have to wait after Monaco came from behind to beat Nice 2-1 in the Derby de la Cote d'Azur.
With Marseille losing at Reims and PSG hammering Saint-Etienne, a draw between Monaco and Nice in the late game would have sealed the title for Luis Enrique's team.
Instead, PSG will have to wait a little while longer to get the job done, with Breel Embolo's effort completing the turnaround for Monaco at Stade Louis-II.
Nice led at half-time after Jeremie Boga planted a brilliant header into the bottom-left corner, but matters would have been different had Monaco's Mika Biereth not fluffed his lines from the penalty spot earlier on.
Biereth made amends 10 minutes after the restart, lashing in an unstoppable equaliser.
Embolo completed the comeback in the 73rd minute, with Nice's frustration compounded by a late red card for veteran campaigner Dante for a professional foul.
Monaco's victory means it moves into second place, 21 points behind PSG with seven games remaining.
