Brighton looking for bragging rights over Palace
Georginio Rutter says Brighton and Hove Albion's squad is revelling in the moment after its fantastic start to the Premier League campaign.
Brighton thrashed Kauno Zalgiris 4-0 on in its first UEFA Conference League match in midweek, with Rutter scored twice and providing an assist as Fabian Hurzeler's team continued its fine form.
The Seagulls sit third in the Premier League, having won four of their six games, including beating Arsenal 3-0 before the international break.
They are the league's highest scorers with 18 goals, and next face arch-rival Crystal Palace, which currently holds one of the worst defensive records in the top flight.
"It's not every time one player [who scores]," Rutter said.
"We are a good team, everybody scores, and everybody assists, so I think the atmosphere of the team at the moment is very good, so we are confident and in good shape."
Like Brighton, Palace was in European action in midweek but lost 3-2 to Lyon in the UEFA Europa League after its defensive frailties were exposed again.
Palace is in that competition having won the trophy Brighton is vying for this season, and it will be desperate to come away from the south coast with a win in a derby that, like so many do, could go against the form guide.
