Lazio reclaims fourth spot from Juventus
Lazio moved back into fourth place on the Serie A ahead of Juventus after beating Hellas Verona 3-0 on Monday (AEDT).
Samuel Gigot set the tone early with a goal inside two minutes before Boulaye Dia doubled the lead before the break.
The third came courtesy of Mattia Zaccagni just before the hour mark and Ondrej Duda was sent off for the hosts with a minute remaining to make it a miserable day for Verona.
Lazio moved two points ahead of Juve after it had occupied fourth spot briefly on the back of beating AC Milan 2-0. Verona remains in the bottom three with 19 points in 18th place, level with Como in 17th but having played a game more than Cesc Fabregas' side, which meets Udinese on Tuesday (AEDT).
