Juventus gets Lucumi signing over the line
Juventus announced the signing of defender Jhon Lucumi from Bologna.
Lucumi has signed a four-year deal with the Bianconeri, who will pay a €19.5m fee, plus add-ons, for the centre-back.
The Colombia international made 152 appearances across four seasons for Bologna and helped it win the Coppa Italia in 2024-2025.
Since the start of the 2022-2023 Serie A season, Lucumi has won the most duels among Bologna defenders and the most tackles.
The 28 year-old featured in the Champions League and Europa League for Bologna, reaching the quarter-finals of the latter competition last season before losing to eventual champion Aston Villa.
Lucumi also made five appearances at the 2026 World Cup for Colombia, which lost in the last 16 to Switzerland on penalties after a 0-0 draw.
He joins the likes of Randal Kolo Muani, Kerim Alajbegovic and Zeki Celik through the door at Juve, which finished its pre-season campaign with a 2-0 win over Palermo.
Luciano Spalletti's side begins its Serie A season on 23 August 23 away to Frosinone.
