Kessie rates himself as a great signing for Juve
Franck Kessie is set to be a free agent this summer after running down his contract at Al-Ahli, and Juventus is said to be interested.
The 29-year-old midfielder already has plenty of experience in Serie A, after an impressive campaign with Atalanta in 2016-2017. He also spent the subsequent five seasons with AC Milan, helping the Rossoneri win the Scudetto in 2021-2022.
Overall, Kessie has made 204 appearances in the Italian top-flight, scoring 41 goals and providing 13 assists.
Kessie, who is currently representing Cote d'Ivoire at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, believes signing him on a free transfer would be a no-brainer.
"I did see the talk about Juventus," Kessie told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"I am focused only on the [2026 FIFA] World Cup, but I will just say one thing: I would be a great signing. I’m in good shape, I’m playing at the World Cup, and above all I am a free agent, so what more could you ask for?
"This is why so many clubs want me, and they are right! But for another five days, I am still a player of Al-Ahli. After the Round of 16, we’ll meet up and I can tell you something else.
"My agent is working on it, we’re receiving a lot of calls, and that’s to be expected. I too would sign me at these conditions, both physically and financially."
Juventus finished sixth in Serie A last season, missing out on the UEFA Champions League places after dropping points in four of its last five games.
It will start the 2026-2027 campaign on the road against newly promoted Frosinone.
