The Aussies to watch in the SPFL in 24/25
Among the nine Australians playing in the Scottish top flight in 2024-2025 is a mixture of established Socceroos stars, fringe players and young a-League graduates looking to make a name for themselves abroad. Here we look at who they are, where they are and when you can watch them, LIVE on beIN.
From Craig Moore and Kevin Muscat to Tom Rogic and Scott Mc Donald, the Scottish Professional Football League has always been something of a 'home away from home' for Australian footballers and this season is no different, with nine expats calling the Scottish top flight home.
All nine are spread across four clubs and with no representation at either Celtic or Rangers, they'll be leading the flock of teams looking to bring down the 'big two'.
Edinburgh giant Heart of Midlothian represents the highest concentration of Australians, with four players on the books. Leading the way is tough-tackling midfielder Cameron Devlin, who has played 79 games for Hearts since signing on in 2021.
The diminutive midfielder started in 16 games last season as Hearts finished third behind Rangers and champion Celtic. Devlin is joined be Socceroos defenders Nathanial Atkinson and Kye Rowles, along with former Western Sydney Wanderers midfielder Calem Nieuwenhof.

Socceroos winger Martin Boyle has established himself as one of the stars of the SPFL over at Hearts' fierce Edinburgh rival Hibernian and if his form in the Premier Sport Cup is a guide, Boyle is back to his best after making his return from knee surgery last August.
Boyl remains desperate to repay the faith shown in him by Hibs, having briefly left the club for an ill-fated stint in Saudi Arabia in 2022.
He's joined at the club by six times-capped Australian midfielder Lewis Miller, who established himself as a mainstay in the Hibs engine room last season and will be looking to produce a strong campaign in the final two years of his contract.

Of keen interest to Australian audiences will be the performances of Motherwell and its two new Australian recruits, Apostolos Stamatelopoulos, who netter 17 goals from 25 games for Newcastle Jets last season, and former Perth Glory right back John Koutroumbis, who signed a two-year deal for the Steelmen on a free transfer in July.
"Johnny is a good player who has a wealth of experience in a good league," Motherwell manager Stuart Kettlewell told the BBC. "I've spoken with him and he is very ambitious.
