De Bruyne's delicious double fires Belgium to win
Kevin de Bruyne scored a sensational double as Belgium beat Turkiye 3-0 in their UEFA Nations League, Romelu Lukaku scoring the Red Devils' third after coming on as a late substitute.
De Bruyne put the hosts ahead in the 10th minute with a fine drive from distance after a one-two with Dodi Lukebakio.
Lukebakio twice hit the post thereafter, but De Bruyne found the back of the net with an even more spectacular strike on the hour, firing an emphatic shot into the top corner from edge of the box after another Belgium surge into the heart of Turkiye's defence.
Lukaku replaced Lukebakio and wrapped up the win 14 minutes from time with his 94th international goal.
France leads Group A1 on seven points, one ahead of Belgium.
Italy, which is improving with every game under new boss Roberto Mancini, is on four points with Turkiye yet to get off the mark.
