(VIDEO) The AMAZING GOAL by Raúl Jiménez that everyone is talking about
The Mexican National Team once again triumphed over the United States in a friendly match on Tuesday, with a standout performance from Raúl Jiménez. The Fulham striker, who is in great form with his club, was the key figure in the game, scoring the first goal and helping set up Mexico’s second.
Jiménez's performance did not go unnoticed internationally. Fulham, proud of their player, shared the Mexican’s goal on social media. "Just Raúl things," the club posted on X, along with a video of his shot into the top left corner, leaving U.S. goalkeeper Matt Turner with no chance.
Jiménez’s goal sparked an enthusiastic response on social media, with Fulham fans praising his excellent form. Many were surprised to see him score from a free kick, as he is usually known for finishing chances inside the box.
This goal was Jiménez’s first for the Mexican National Team in over a year, his last being a brace against Uzbekistan in September 2023. It was also his fifth goal of the 2024-25 season, adding to the four he’s already scored for Fulham—three in the Premier League and one in the EFL Cup.
