Atlético de Madrid suffered a heavy defeat on Sunday, falling 4-0 to an unstoppable Paris Saint-Germain in both teams’ debut at the FIFA Club World Cup, held at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, USA.

After a dominant first half where Fabián Ruiz and Vitinha found the back of the net, PSG sealed the win late in the match with two more goals. Senny Mayulu struck in the 87th minute, and Lee Kang-in converted a penalty in stoppage time to cap off the statement victory for the European champions.

Botafogo (Brazil) and Seattle Sounders (USA) are the other teams in Group B, and they will face each other later this Sunday in Seattle.
