(VIDEO) All Goals From PSG vs Bayern Munich in the FIFA Club World Cup Quarterfinals
Désiré Doué and Ousmane Dembélé scored the goals that defined a thrilling showdown this Saturday at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, where Paris Saint-Germain defeated Bayern Munich to secure a place in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup semifinals. Despite finishing the match with nine men, the Parisians held off the German side's pressure and now await their next opponent: either Real Madrid or Borussia Dortmund.
A high-intensity clash from the start
The match lived up to the hype. Both PSG and Bayern came out pressing and attacking aggressively. However, it was the young Désiré Doué who broke the deadlock with a stunning goal that electrified the crowd in Atlanta. Later, Ousmane Dembélé, returning to the starting eleven after recovering from injury, doubled the lead with a fine finish.

Vincent Kompany's side tried to rally with possession and energy, but ran into a solid PSG defense, anchored by Marquinhos and a brilliant performance from Gianluigi Donnarumma. Two red cards for PSG in the second half added suspense, but Luis Enrique's squad held firm until the final whistle.
Musiala injury raises concerns for Bayern
The most worrying moment came right before halftime. In the last play of the first half, Jamal Musiala, Bayern’s midfielder, appeared to suffer a serious left ankle injury after a collision with Donnarumma. The German youngster was battling for the ball with Willian Pacho when he was brought down by the Italian keeper. TV footage showed Musiala’s ankle getting caught under Donnarumma’s body, sparking concern on both benches.
Musiala left the pitch visibly in pain, and while Bayern has not yet released an official medical report, the incident and the emotional reaction from players —including a tearful Donnarumma— suggest it could be serious.
PSG gets revenge and advances with authority
This match served not only as payback for the group stage loss, but also as a form of redemption for the 2020 Champions League final, which Bayern won. This time, PSG showed greater effectiveness, even amid adversity.
With this victory, the French club takes a huge step toward the world title and sends a clear message: they’re ready to face the very best.
