According to Sky Sports, the English club has established the minimum amount it would accept to begin negotiations for the Spanish international, a figure that currently exceeds what Real Madrid is prepared to pay.
City Wants €75 Million
According to the report, Manchester City will only consider offers in the region of €75 million for Rodri.
The club's stance reflects the midfielder's importance to the squad. In addition to being under contract until 2027, the Spanish international remains one of the most influential players in European football.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid is reportedly willing to offer around €50 million, leaving a €25 million gap between the two clubs and making negotiations difficult at this stage.

It is no secret that José Mourinho wants to strengthen his midfield.
Following the departures of Toni Kroos and Luka Modrić, the Spanish giants have been searching for a player capable of dictating the tempo of matches, building attacks from deep, and providing balance on both sides of the ball.
