When Could PSG Win Ligue 1?
PSG could crown themselves champions of Ligue 1 after the FIFA break
Despite Amine Gouiri's goal right at the start of the second half putting Olympique de Marseille back into the game, PSG once again imposed their dominant play, securing a victory in their fifth consecutive Le Classique. A win at the Parc des Princes after eliminating Liverpool in the Champions League that allows PSG to start wondering when they could lift the Ligue 1 title this season.

PSG can win Ligue 1 after the FIFA break!
The performance PSG is showing this season in Ligue 1 throughout all the matches was something no one could have imagined after the departure of Kylian Mbappé to Real Madrid… except for Luis Enrique. Despite having drawn five matches, no one has been able to challenge PSG, and after 26 games played, they still haven’t lost a single match.
After this latest win in Le Classique, PSG now leads Olympique de Marseille by 19 points with only eight games remaining in the current Ligue 1 season. Therefore, PSG could become champions for the fourth consecutive season… right after the FIFA break! However, for that to happen, several conditions must be met, and not all of them depend on PSG.
What does PSG need to do to win Ligue 1 in the next round?
The first is that Olympique de Marseille must lose against Stade de Reims in their visit to the Stade Auguste Delaune, just like last season. If that happens, PSG will go to the Stade Geoffroy Guichard knowing that, if they beat Saint-Étienne, they will be Ligue 1 champions because they will be 22 points ahead of Olympique de Marseille… and only 21 points would remain to be played for.
PSG, of course, will go into this match especially motivated, as we must remember that Saint-Étienne was the most decorated team in Ligue 1 until two seasons ago. However, PSG must be aware that a few days later they will face the surprising Dunkerque in the Coupe de France, and then will play the Champions League knockout tie against Aston Villa.
