Hull recovery on track as Plymouth sinks further
Hull City put five points between itself and the bottom three in the EFL Championship with a 2-0 victory at home to fellow struggler Plymouth Argyle.
Joe Gelhardt opened the scoring for the Tigers just three minutes into the second half, finishing after the ball deflected to him, before Abu Kamara made things more comfortable just after the hour.
The victory was the first home win for Ruben Selles' side since before Christmas, while Plymouth is now six points from safety and will need favours from other teams in order to stay up.
