United's Malacia makes Eredivisie return
Manchester United's Tyrell Malacia will spend the rest of the season on loan at defending Eredivisie champion PSV.
Malacia joined United from Feyenoord during Erik ten Hag's first transfer window at the helm in 2022 and played 22 league games in his first campaign at Old Trafford.
However, he underwent knee surgery in 2023 and spent 18 months on the sidelines, finally making his first-team return against Bodo/Glimt in the UEFA Europa League in November.
But after the deadline-day acquisition of Patrick Dorgu from Lecce, boss Ruben Amorim has opted to allow Malacia to rediscover his peak condition elsewhere.
PSV, champion under Peter Bosz last season, is currently two points clear of Ajax at the top of the Eredivisie table, albeit having played an additional game.
