Flick ready for challenge on three trophy fronts
Hansi Flick says Barcelona is ready to embrace the "great challenge" of competing for silverware on three fronts for the remainder of the season.
The Blaugrana sit three points clear at the LaLiga summit with 10 games remaining, ahead of facing Girona on Monday (AEDT).
It will be the first of six matches in the space of 17 days across all competitions for Flick's side, which plays Atletico Madrid in the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final in midweek.
A UEFA Champions League quarter-final against Borussia Dortmund is also on the horizon for Barca, which beat Osasuna 3-0 on Friday (AEDT) in its first game back after the international break.
Flick knows the busy schedule will be a tough test of his players' credentials, but has urged them to take it in their stride.
"You never know that [recovery time], even when you have one or two more days to recover," he said.
"It will undoubtedly be a great challenge that awaits us from now until the end of the season.
"We're ready and want to fight until the end of the season. I have a feeling that we're all very proud of the match against Osasuna.
"I'm focused on the next game. We have a lot of games ahead. There are 10 games left [in LaLiga], and it's important to win game after game. The rest of the season will get shorter and more difficult for the other teams."
