Neto arrived at Stamford Bridge from Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2024, and he has gone on to make 108 appearances for the Blues across all competitions, scoring 21 goals and supplying 18 assists.

The Portugal winger helped Chelsea win the UEFA Conference League and FIFA Club World Cup trophies in 2025, and he has also played a key role in the early days of Xabi Alonso's reign.

Neto, who scored in Chelsea's thrilling 6-3 win over Leeds United in the Carabao Cup in midweek, has taken up a wing-back position in Alonso's 3-4-3 system.

With Alonso overseeing two wins from three Premier League games, the exception being a narrow 2-1 defeat to Arsenal, Neto is excited about the future.

"It's an unbelievable moment," he said after putting pen to paper.

"From when I arrived, I have always felt like the people here helped me a lot. I feel like home here, I feel like I want to achieve more things here.

"I have had some good moments here as a group and as an individual, and now I want to have more of those moments.

"I'm really excited because I think we can achieve a lot of things together."

Neto will hope to help Chelsea get back to winning ways in the Premier League this weekend when it hosts a Hull City side which has seven points on the board and is yet to concede a goal since winning promotion from the EFL Championship.
