Kane not rushing Bayern contract renewal
Harry Kane revealed his Bayern Munich contract renewal talks are going well, but he does not want to rush what he has called the last "big contract" of his career.
Bayern began its Bundesliga title defence in fine style with a 5-1 win over Stuttgart, with Michael Olise, Dayot Upamecano, Aleksandar Pavlovic and Luis Diaz the scorers, along with an own goal from Josha Vagnoman.
Kane, who has entered the final year of his current deal with Bayern, failed to score with his two attempts, but did create two chances for his side.
The England international previously stated he intends to continue his career in Germany, but he insisted his next deal is one that cannot be rushed.
"The talks started last week – so far, so good. But this isn’t something that can be done in a week or two," the England captain.
"It’s about the details. I’m 33, so this will probably be my last contract – well, big contract. It's looking pretty good."
