Wilder loses on return as Blades are blunted again
Chris Wilder's first game back at Sheffield United ended in disappointment as Charlton Athletic snatched a last-minute winner through substitute Isaac Olaofe in their EFL Championship clash.
Teed up by James Bree, Olaofe stabbed the ball home in front of the travelling Charlton fans to send them into raptures and seal a 1-0 win at Bramall Lane.
The Blades, who parted company with Ruben Selles last week, were still on the hunt for a first victory of the season, having lost all five of their league outings to sit bottom of the Championship heading into this clash.
Despite dominating possession, Wilder's side was unable to make it count, and was left frustrated by a well-organised Addicks press, registering just one shot on target.
The defeat leaves United, which was among the favourites for promotion ahead of the season, rooted to the bottom of the second tier without a point to its name.
