Luton grabs huge win in relegation battle
Luton Town claimed a huge 1-0 win away at fellow EFL Championship struggler Hull City, continuing its recent upturn in form.
In a game of very few chances, the only goal came in truly bizarre fashion.
Hull failed to deal with a long punt from Thomas Kaminski, and in an effort to clear, Lewie Coyle could only cannon the ball off defensive partner Alfie Jones and into the net.
The Tigers struggled to mount a fightback as the Hatters held on for a crucial three points that puts them level with 22nd-placed Derby County, which does not play until Thursday (AEDT).
The loss will have Hull looking over its shoulder as it is now just three points ahead of Luton with seven games remaining.
