Maresca only wants happy players at Chelsea
Noni Madueke has been linked with a move away from Chelsea, and Enzo Maresca will not stand in the way of any unhappy player.
The England international has been linked with a move away from the Blues, which have already been active in the transfer market.
Chelsea has bolstered its attack with moves for Liam Delap, Joao Pedro and Dario Essugo, while Palmeiras wonderkid Estevao will join it after the FIFA Club World Cup.
According to reports, Chelsea has made 23-year-old Madueke available for a transfer, with Arsenal among the clubs having been linked to the player.
"Noni has been very important for us," Maresca said when asked about Madueke after Chelsea's quarter-final win over Palmeiras at the FIFA Club World Cup.
"But my message to the players and to the club is that I just want players that are happy to be with us.
"The ones that are not happy, they are free to go. Noni has been very good during the season."
Madueke was a consistent performer for Chelsea last season. He made 32 Premier League appearances, with 27 of those being starts, and contributed to 10 goals in the competition – seven goals and three assists.
