Belgium talent Moreira completes €50m move to AC Milan
AC Milan has completed the signing of winger Diego Moreira from Strasbourg.
The Belgium international has signed a five-year contract with the Rossoneri after a reported €50m deal, with another €16m in add-ons.
Moreira scored seven goals and provided 15 assists in 76 appearances for Strasbourg after a move from partner club Chelsea in 2024.
He also made one appearance at the World Cup for Belgium, featuring off the bench in its dramatic round-of-32 win over Senegal.
Moreira was reportedly in advanced talks with RB Leipzig to replace Yan Diomande before choosing to join Milan, which begins its 2026-2027 Serie A campaign on Monday against Torino.
He could make his competitive debut alongside Goncalo Ramos, who joined from Paris Saint-Germain earlier this summer, while Ruben Amorim will look to make a winning start as coach.
Amorim could become the first foreign manager to win his opening Serie A match in charge of Milan since Leonardo in August 2009.
