Red Bull and Ford inaugurate 2026 with a new livery for their F1 car
Formula 1 is coming: Red Bull and Ford unveil new car for 2026 season
The team of Dutch four-time world champion Max Verstappen and French rookie Isack Hadjar will race in this car. The Red Bull Ford presentation showcased a sample of the car's design; the car will not be seen in action until the pre-season tests.
Following this event, Red Bull and Ford formalized and presented their new agreement to compete as a team in the 2026 Formula 1 season. The event was held in the city of Detroit, at Ford's headquarters.
The new single-seater model
The RB22 maintains some of the Red Bull team's traditions, such as the navy blue color and the brand logos around the car.
A change in the design and paint of the new models is that the matte colors on the Red Bulls cease to exist for this season. Now the RB22 returns to its heyday, literally returning to the shine that in recent years had been discarded for less intense colors.
Racing Bulls was also present.
Racing Bulls also presented their car and drivers at the same event, as they belong to the Red Bull family. Arvid Lindblad and Liam Lawson will be responsible for maintaining the car and taking it as far as possible. As for the design of the Racing Bulls model, it's traditional, retaining the matte finish with the classic white and navy blue, in addition to incorporating some Ford decals and other sponsors into the new design.
