Senegal vs Morocco to Use Special Ball in the AFCON 2025 Final
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled a special match ball for Sunday’s final, where the champion of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025 will be decided.
The AFCON final will be a true celebration, and one clear sign of that is that Senegal vs Morocco will be played with a one-off, special-edition ball, used exclusively for the final match of the tournament.
A Ball with Unique Details for Senegal vs Morocco
The ball, named Itri, has been used throughout AFCON 2025 and was developed with traditional Moroccan zellij geometric patterns, featuring a central star geometry, floral petal outlines, and circular symmetry.
For the final, the ball also incorporates golden accents as a tribute to both finalists — the Atlas Lions of Morocco and the Lions of Teranga of Senegal.

What Technology Does the AFCON 2025 Ball Have?
According to information from CAF and PUMA, the ball is designed to meet elite-level performance standards while maintaining the aesthetic elements that honor African culture.
“Designed with PUMA’s advanced Orbita 6 technology, the ball seamlessly blends heritage with innovation, delivering the performance standards required for elite competition while celebrating African culture.”
