Later, in the 86th minute, the VAR intervened again to cancel a goal from Iñaki Williams due to a slight foul by Djaló, causing frustration among the Bilbao players.

Despite Athletic's final attempts, Barcelona maintained control and advanced to the Spanish Super Cup final, where they will face the winner of the second semifinal between Real Madrid and Real Mallorca.
