In an emotional post on Instagram, Saioa Cañibano shared a video of their burning home, accompanied by a heartfelt message:
"Our beautiful Malibu home burned yesterday... we’re still in shock with everything that’s happening. It’s very sad and terrifying how everything is burning."
Despite the tragedy, she reassured followers that the family is safe and expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support during this difficult time.
The wildfires, which began on Tuesday, January 2, have forced the evacuation of over 120,000 people and destroyed more than 1,500 structures in the area. Firefighters are still battling to control the flames, which have caused devastating human and material losses.
