Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. trains with Portugal… wearing boots from his dad and Mbappé!
Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. has taken a major step in his young career by being called up for the first time to the Portugal U-15 national team. In his first training session with the team, he not only caught everyone’s attention with his performance on the field but also with his choice of footwear: he wore Nike Mercurial boots just like his dad’s, as well as an exclusive pair worn by Kylian Mbappé, current star of Real Madrid.
First steps in the Portugal jersey
At just 14 years old, the young forward trained with his teammates at the Cidade do Futebol near Lisbon, before heading to Croatia for the Vlatko Markovic Tournament, where Portugal will face Greece, Japan, and England. This will be his first international experience wearing the Portugal jersey, while he continues his development with the Al-Nassr youth teams, where his father is still shining at 40 years old.
Since his arrival at the camp, Cristiano Jr. showed confidence and friendliness with the press, standing out in drills with a style that inevitably reminded everyone of his dad. Wearing the personalized CR7 boots was a clear tribute to his family, but it was also surprising to see him switch to Mbappé’s boots, showing the influence the French star has on his game.
From European youth academies to the international stage
Having trained with academies like Real Madrid, Juventus, and Manchester United, the son of the Portuguese legend has already made a name for himself, with notable achievements like 58 goals in a season with the Juventus youth team. Now, with his first international challenge with Portugal, he’s beginning to carve out his own path in football.
Despite the media pressure and high expectations due to his famous surname, Cristiano Jr. seems to be taking it all in stride, with natural confidence and determination. It looks like the future of this young forward is full of excitement... and plenty of top-tier football.
