Neymar Shows Off Again with Santos as Rumors Grow About a Return to Barcelona
Neymar scored again with Santos, this time with a fantastic free-kick, to lead the victory over Red Bull Bragantino
As rumors about his return to Barcelona keep growing day by day, Neymar is proving in every match with Santos in this second stint in Brazil that he can still make a difference. Last night, not far from that, he led the victory over Bragantino in the quarter-finals of the Paulista Championship.

Neymar is happy again at Santos
Just a few days ago, his performance against Inter de Limeira went viral, where he provided two assists and scored an Olympic goal that silenced all the fans in the stadium. This time, it only took him nine minutes to make the crowd erupt in excitement by scoring a sensational free-kick that set Santos on their way to a victory over Red Bull Bragantino.
Since his return to Santos in January, Neymar has played a total of seven matches. That’s exactly the same number of games he played during the year and a half he spent playing for Al-Hilal. He is looking better physically, and that is reflected in his performances. In fact, he has participated in six of the 11 goals Santos has scored in their last four matches.
André Cury talks about Neymar's arrival at Barcelona
With these performances since his return to Santos, Neymar is making the rumors about him joining Barcelona next summer seem less crazy. In fact, although he acknowledged it’s a very complex matter to resolve, David Ornstein (a journalist from ‘The Athletic’ specializing in the transfer market) stated that talks are already ongoing with Laporta.
Now, the one who spoke was André Cury, a key figure in Neymar's move to Barcelona in 2013: "Neymar will be a free agent in July and is recovering his form in Brazil. If there’s a possibility of returning to Barcelona, he will do it with pleasure, I’m sure of it. If the club supports his signing and decides to go for him, it could happen.”
