Spain came out on top against Argentina once again, this time away from the football pitch. At La Velada del Año 6, the boxing event organized by Spanish streamer Ibai Llanos, Edu Aguirre defeated Gastón Edul by split decision in one of the night's most anticipated bouts at La Cartuja Stadium.

Cristiano Ronaldo also played an important role in the story. Before the fight, a video of the Portuguese star watching Aguirre's training session was shown on the stadium screens. After the victory, Aguirre celebrated with Ronaldo's iconic "Siuuu" and dedicated the win to him during his post-fight speech.

After earning the split-decision victory, Aguirre celebrated with Cristiano Ronaldo's famous "Siuuu" celebration.

Later, while speaking on the microphone, he also thanked Georgina Rodríguez and paid tribute to the Portuguese forward.

"Thank you to my friend Georgina (Rodríguez) and to the greatest player in history, whether people like it or not. Thank you, Cristiano Ronaldo."
