Arsenal And PSG Enter The Scene To Sign Joshua Kimmich
’Sky Sports’ reports that Arsenal and PSG are interested in signing Kimmich as a free agent after Bayern Munich withdrew their renewal offer
Earlier this morning, ‘BILD’ reported that last Monday, Bayern Munich withdrew their renewal offer to Joshua Kimmich due to the lack of a response from the German midfielder. This situation has alerted the sporting directors of Arsenal and PSG, who are both highly interested in signing Kimmich as a free agent, according to ‘Sky Sports.’

Kimmich is Arsenal’s ‘B’ plan
It is assumed that there will be a revolution in Arsenal’s midfield next season, as it is expected that Jorginho and Thomas Partey will leave the club. In this regard, Martín Zubimendi is the ideal candidate for coach Mikel Arteta.
However, the new twist in Joshua Kimmich’s future has led Arsenal to consider him as their ‘B’ plan, as Martín Zubimendi will not leave Real Sociedad for less than the 60 million euros stipulated in his release clause. Kimmich, however, would arrive for free at the Emirates Stadium.
PSG continues to think about Kimmich
However, Arsenal is not the only team that has shown interest in signing Kimmich for next season. According to Sky Sports, another team closely monitoring Kimmich’s situation is PSG. In fact, this rumor began to gain traction in the winter of 2023… though it never materialized.
’Sky’ also revealed that PSG and Bayern Munich had discussions last summer regarding a potential transfer for Kimmich, which was rejected by the player himself. Ultimately, PSG ended up signing Joao Neves to complete a strong present and future midfield alongside Vitinha and Zaïre-Emery. However, Kimmich is still an option.
