Colombia’s Independiente Medellín and Uruguay’s Juventud played to a 1–1 draw this Thursday in the first leg of the third phase of the Copa Libertadores at the Gran Parque Central in Montevideo.

As a result, the Colombian side earned a valuable point on the road and will now look to seal qualification next week at the Atanasio Girardot in front of their home crowd.
