Arturo Vidal Heats Up Copa América with Controversial Remarks
Just days before the Copa América kicks off, Arturo Vidal is stirring up controversy with his statements.
Chilean Arturo Vidal, currently playing for Colo Colo and formerly with Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Juventus, and more, has made some controversial remarks just days before the Copa América begins in the United States on June 21.
The veteran Chilean mentioned, "Chilean football is better than Argentine football," sparking controversy everywhere and heating things up before the tournament starts.
"We're not that far from Argentine football. They say it's a better league, but if you watch the matches, there's so much kicking... so many collisions... it's more physical, not so technical. Chilean football is better than Argentine football, in my opinion," commented Vidal.
He also took a jab at Brazilian football, making it clear that what they have is money. "Brazilian football isn't very good technically either, but they do have many players and the money to buy whoever they want. All teams can strengthen well, but it's not technically better than Chilean football," he stated.
