Doué and Barcola Shine for PSG and Lead the Team to the French Cup Quarterfinals

Paris Saint-Germain qualified for the quarterfinals of the French Cup on Tuesday after defeating Le Mans, from the second tier of French football, 0-2. The Parisian team will learn their next opponent in the draw set for Thursday.

The 19-year-old Frenchman Desire Doue opened the scoring in the 25th minute following a major mistake from the local defense. He scored easily to make it 0-1 and set the course for the Parisians.

The second half was more balanced, at least until the 71st minute, when space started to open up. Frenchman Bradley Barcola scored the 0-2 for PSG, assisted by Nuno Mendes, finishing with a precise shot to the far post.

Paris Saint-Germain remained comfortable throughout most of the match, conceding only two shots on target, and continues to be the favorite for the cup title this year.
