Brahim's dream with Morocco
Brahim Díaz is living a match today that will mark his career. At just 26 years old, the man from Málaga has become Morocco's offensive standard-bearer, wearing the number 10 jersey and accumulating four assists in this World Cup, a historic record for an African player. In his first global tournament, Díaz is projected as a key figure in the short, medium, and long term for the Atlas Lions, the team of his family roots.
His journey to this point was not easy. Beyond his role at Real Madrid, Brahim has already lifted a title this season, the Africa Cup of Nations 25-26, won in Morocco in a controversial final that included his memorable Panenka penalty. Pending the resolution of the CAS, he remains the only Real Madrid player with an official trophy this season.
