UNITED STATES, WITH POCHETTINO AND A NEW ERA UNDERWAY
The United States men's national team heads into this matchup with Mauricio Pochettino in charge and focused on building toward the 2030 FIFA World Cup. The head coach has called up 28 players for this international window, combining experience with youth: 13 players featured at the 2026 World Cup, while 12 received their first call-up to the senior national team.
The USMNT enters the game with plenty of confidence after beating Peru 4-1 and Chile 4-2 in its first two matches of the FIFA international window.
MEXICO SET FOR ITS FIRST CLASSICO WITH RAFA MÁRQUEZ
