Alejandro Garnacho Could Leave Manchester United After Europa League Final
The 2024-25 season turned out to be a difficult one for Alejandro Garnacho at Manchester United, as the team's poor results have taken a toll on the Argentine’s individual performance. Now, the winger is reportedly considering leaving the Red Devils after playing just 20 minutes in the Europa League final.

Frustration in the Europa League Final
Following the final, Garnacho spoke to ESPN, expressing visible frustration over his limited playing time: “Up until the final (Europa League), I played every round helping the team. Then the final comes, and I played 20 minutes. I don't know.”
His lack of minutes with the Red Devils stems from the Europa League semifinal against Athletic Club, where the Argentine missed a clear scoring chance. Since that moment, he was benched for the following two Premier League matches and the final.
An Active Market for Garnacho
Additionally, the Argentine international hinted that his future at Manchester United is uncertain and something he will evaluate carefully: "I'll try to enjoy the summer, and then we'll see what happens." Various sources claim that Garnacho has the green light to leave the club in the next transfer window—if a strong offer comes in. Let’s not forget that Chelsea showed considerable interest in him during the winter transfer window, and now, with the Club World Cup approaching, he could be an appealing option for both sides.
Beyond interest from Premier League clubs, Saudi Arabia is also circling, with several teams showing interest. Even Napoli, fresh off their Serie A title and with a Champions League spot secured, are expected to go after the winger once again, as they did in January.
Alejandro Garnacho had his best season as a professional, scoring 11 goals in 57 appearances for Manchester United.
