The clock is ticking for Marcus Rashford's future to be decided. The situation at Manchester United has become unsustainable, especially after Rúben Amorim's recent remarks.

The Manchester United manager made it clear that he would prioritize the team’s goalkeeping coach over a player who "doesn't give their best," a pointed reference to Marcus Rashford, who hasn’t played in twelve matches.

The English forward hasn’t seen a single minute of action since December 12 and now has just four days left to secure a move before the winter transfer window closes. However, both a loan and a permanent transfer are complicated due to Rashford's high wages, reportedly around £300,000 ($375,000) per week.

No holding back

“Training is the most important thing; it reflects how a player approaches life. It’s about the little details every day. If things don’t change, I won’t change. It’s the same for every player. If you give your best and do things the right way, we can count on you,” said the Portuguese coach after Sunday’s win against Fulham.

“You could see we lacked some rhythm on the bench, but I’d put Vital (the goalkeeping coach) in before playing someone who doesn’t give their all every single day.”

AC Milan's interest in Rashford ended after they confirmed the signing of Kyle Walker, as they are only allowed to sign one English player this January. Meanwhile, Barcelona remains an unlikely option due to Rashford's high salary and the financial challenges facing the Catalan club.
