Manchester United has officially announced the appointment of Rúben Amorim as the new Head Coach of the men’s first team, pending the fulfillment of work visa requirements. 

Amorim, who has established himself as one of the most promising young coaches in European football, will join the club on Monday, November 11, and will be under contract until June 2027, with an option for an additional year.

Before taking the reins at Manchester United, Amorim will fulfill his obligations with his current club, Sporting CP. He is highly regarded for his impressive coaching credentials, including two Primeira Liga titles with Sporting, one of which marked the club’s first championship in 19 years.

Meanwhile, Van Nistelrooy

In the meantime, Ruud van Nistelrooy will continue to lead the team until Amorim officially takes charge. United fans are eagerly anticipating the fresh approach that Amorim is expected to bring to the squad as they look to revitalize their campaign under new leadership.
