Savinho, the 21-year-old Brazilian winger, who signed for Manchester City from Troyes just last summer, is reportedly pushing for a move away from the Etihad Stadium.

Despite a promising debut season with City—where he made 48 appearances, contributing three goals and 13 assists—the winger is understood to be open to a transfer to Tottenham Hotspur, who are seeking to bolster their attacking options after the departure of club legend Son Heung-min.

Sources indicate Savinho’s agent has flown to England recently to accelerate talks between the clubs, signaling the player’s strong desire to join Spurs. Tottenham see Savinho as a natural replacement on the wing, particularly filling the void left by Son’s transfer to LAFC.

Manchester City Hold Out for a Significant Fee

Manchester City, however, have made it clear they are reluctant to sell the young Brazilian easily. While Spurs have reportedly offered €50 million, City have rejected this bid, demanding a much higher price.

The asking price currently stands at €80 million, a sum Tottenham must meet if they hope to secure the winger’s signature.

City’s valuation reflects their belief in Savinho’s potential, especially given his impactful performances during a rare season of transition for the club. Some former City players, like Nedum Onuoha, have expressed surprise at the club’s willingness to sell such a promising talent, emphasizing his contribution in a challenging season for City.

Pep Guardiola’s squad plan suggests they may only let Savinho go if the fee aligns with their ambitions and the player’s wishes coincide with leaving.
