Despite the severity of the crash, Thomas walked away completely unharmed.

From the Accident to Stamford Bridge in Less Than 24 Hours
The accident happened on Friday morning on Millhouse Woods Lane, near the facilities where Hull City trains in Cottingham.
The severity of the incident caused concern among supporters after images emerged showing the overturned vehicle.
Shortly afterward, Hull City released a statement to reassure its supporters and confirmed that Thomas had not suffered any injuries.
The winger was able to get out of the vehicle completely unharmed.
The clearest indication that he was in good condition came only a few hours later.
Thomas traveled to London with the rest of the squad, was included in Sergej Jakirović’s matchday squad and started on the bench against Chelsea.
In the 60th minute, the manager decided to bring him on in place of Elliot Stroud.

Jakirović Even Compares Him to Max Verstappen
Once it was confirmed that the player was perfectly fine, the tension even gave way to some humor.
Jakirović joked after the match by comparing his player to Max Verstappen, the four-time Formula 1 world champion.
Beyond the joke, the most important thing for the manager was that Thomas suffered no physical consequences from the accident.
His appearance against Chelsea also allowed him to continue an adaptation process that has only just begun.
