Expected Returns for PSG Against Bayern Munich in the Champions League
On the eve of their challenging trip to Bayern Munich in the Champions League, PSG has announced the list of players called up, with several returns.
Paris Saint-Germain is under pressure. So far, the club has failed to meet expectations and has been disappointing in the first four group-stage matches of the Champions League.
Currently 25th in the standings and virtually eliminated from the competition, the Parisian club must secure a crucial result on Tuesday when they face Bayern Munich to still have hopes of reaching the knockout rounds. To do so, Luis Enrique will have nearly a full squad at his disposal.
Indeed, long-term absentees due to serious injuries, Presnel Kimpembe and Gonçalo Ramos, have been included in the squad by the Spanish coach, along with Nuno Mendes, who missed the last match against Toulouse in Ligue 1.
However, Lucas Hernandez had less fortune, as he will be absent due to a viral syndrome and will not be available to face his former team. With the squad now revealed, the only remaining question is which starting eleven Luis Enrique will rely on. The answer will come in just over twenty-four hours.
