Rüdiger: "We Have To Get Out Of This Together."
The German international Antonio Rüdiger, defender for Real Madrid, stated after the painful 1-3 defeat to Milan on Matchday 4 of the Champions League a loss that worsens the situation for Carlo Ancelotti's team that they must "get out of this situation together."
Rüdiger, in a message posted on his social media the day after the team’s second consecutive loss at the Santiago Bernabéu (the first was in the clásico against Barcelona), admitted that the match against the Italian side was a "frustrating game."
"But we have to get out of this together," said the German defender, who scored a goal that would have narrowed the score but was disallowed by the VAR due to offside. He also thanked the fans for their support.
Real Madrid finds itself in a difficult position in the Champions League, with only six points after the first four matches. In the next round, they have to visit Liverpool, the only team to have won all its matches so far.
In LaLiga, Madrid is second, nine points behind Barcelona with a game in hand (the postponed game at Mestalla against Valencia due to the weather), and this Saturday they will host Osasuna (14:00) at the Santiago Bernabéu. Osasuna is currently in fifth place and comes into the match having won their last two games.
