UEFA Women’s Euro 2025: Dates, Times, and Everything You Need to Know About the Tournament
The UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 marks the return of European women’s football in its usual format, taking place from July 2 to 27 in Switzerland. This will be the 14th edition of the tournament, with 16 teams competing for the title across eight Swiss venues.
Dates and Tournament Format
The group stage will take place from July 2 to 13, followed by the quarterfinals from July 16 to 19, semifinals on July 22 and 23, and the grand final on July 27 at St. Jakob-Park stadium in Basel. The 16 teams are divided into four groups of four teams each:
- Group A : Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Finland
- Group B : Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Italy
- Group C : Germany, Poland, Denmark, Sweden
- Group D : France, England, Wales, Netherlands
The top two from each group will advance to the knockout stage.
Spain’s Key Matches
The Spanish national team, current World Cup and Nations League champions, is looking to secure its first European title. Spain is in Group B alongside Portugal, Belgium, and Italy.
Their schedule is as follows:
- July 3 : Spain vs. Portugal – 3:00 PM ET
- July 7 : Spain vs. Belgium – 3:00 PM ET
- July 11 : Italy vs. Spain – 3:00 PM ET

The Women’s Euro 2025 will be held at eight stadiums across Switzerland:
- Basel : St. Jakob-Park
- Bern : Stadion Wankdorf
- Geneva : Stade de Genève
- Zurich : Stadion Letzigrund
- St. Gallen : Stadion St. Gallen
- Lucerne : Allmend Stadion Luzern
- Sion : Stade de Tourbillon
- Thun : Arena Thun
Each venue will host group stage and knockout round matches.
