Kane lifts first trophy as Bayern celebrates title
Harry Kane scored again as Bayern Munich registered its 24th Bundesliga victory of the season with a 2-0 win over Borussia Monchengladbach before celebrating its title victory at Allianz Stadium.
Michael Olise grabbed a goal and an assist for Kane to help the cause in Bayern's first game since being crowned champion.
Olise set up Kane for his 25th Bundesliga goal of the season before prodding the ball home himself in the 90th minute to seal a comfortable win for Vincent Kompany's side.
It was also an emotional day for Thomas Muller, who played his final home game for Bayern and received a standing ovation when substituted late on.
After a strong start, Bayern had Manuel Neuer to thank for keeping the scores level, with the veteran clawing the ball off the line to prevent an Eric Dier own-goal.
The hosts were ahead seven minutes later when Olise's attempt at goal was brilliantly glanced beyond the grasp of Jonas Omlin by Kane.
The England captain is on track to become the first player in Bundesliga history to be the top-scorer in both of his first two campaigns, with one game left to play.
Neuer again came to the rescue in the second half to keep his side in front, thwarting Rocco Reitz's glanced header from Franck Honorat's delivery into the box.
But as the game entered stoppage-time, Olise made sure of the win for Bayern, combining well with substitute Leroy Sane before tucking the ball into the net.
